Dear Friends and Family,
These past few months have been tremendously difficult for me and my family. We have faced so many trials such as losing my aunt in a home fire several weeks ago and also losing one of my cousins to a sudden heart attack. Last month, we lost Angel, our family dog of 14 years who we adopted from an animal shelter. Then I found myself in the hospital three times for heart and a new back injury. One week later, my husband Alden was in the hospital for an unexpected heart procedure.
Then, finding out that my lovely, wonderful mother was in the hospital hanging on with double kidney failure, heart and other health related issues and is not expected to survive according to doctors and their test results. They have estimated she has three to seven days to live.
Even though this may sound overwhelming, I know that you all are facing such dificulties as we are.
Why I am reaching out to you is to graciously ask, if possible, to help contribute to expenses that will allow me travel home to be beside my mother and family.
You all know how much I love you even if I have not been in contact with you for quite some time. I appreciate your generosity and prayers during this time in our lives. May the Grace and Glory of God be on all of you, and may His Holy Angels watch over you and your loved ones.
