Help My Son Fight Stargardt Disease and Reclaim His Life

Dear Friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters, I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting my incredible 17-year-old son, Paquito, who is battling Stargardt disease. This degenerative eye condition has significantly affected his vision and, sadly, his ability to live the normal life that every teenager wants and deserves to live.

Paquito has always been full of dreams and excitement for the future. He dreams of becoming an astrophysicist. He loves sports, learning new things, and spending time with his friends and dogs. But over the past year, his vision has deteriorated to the point where these once simple joys have become a challenge. He has become increasingly disillusioned and withdrawn, feeling like his future is slipping away due to this condition. His depression has only deepened as he faces the reality that Stargardt disease could take away more of his independence.

However, we have found hope! We recently learned about a stem cell treatment that could significantly improve his vision and change his life for the better. This treatment could help restore the light in his eyes, allowing him to enjoy the world and live the life every teenager dreams of. The only obstacle standing in our way is the cost. The treatment, along with the necessary travel expenses, totals $30,000.
