We’re reaching out during a difficult time for our family. This morning Stacy Stanberry, Pappy, was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe chest pains. After arriving, doctors confirmed what we feared — he was on the verge of having a heart attack. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was soon transferred to Tyler Hospital, where specialists performed an emergency procedure to rectify the situation. That’s when we learned the shocking news: his “widowmaker” artery was completely blocked — one of the most dangerous types of heart attacks. Thanks to the quick actions of the medical team, they were able to repair the blockage, but he still has a long road to recovery ahead. Right now, we’re asking for any help you can offer — whether that’s through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this page. The medical bills, time off work, travel, and recovery expenses will begin to pile up fast, and your support would mean the world to us. Pappy is hard-working, and always the first to lend a hand. Stacy has dedicated the majority of his life to helping children with life threatening medical conditions through Texas Hunt For The Cure and now it’s our turn to show up for him.
