I need help, please. over the years, I've devoted a lot of my time to helping community cats, I'm a TNR cat trapper, but this one's personal. I need help, As some of you know, I took in a little dog when I was trapping several cats at a hoarding situation a while back. I probably shouldn't have, but he was so traumatized and I needed to see that he was safe and had his forever home, he had already lost his female owner, his dog mommy, and then her husband. Then evicted the caretaker, his dog friend was lost and found by animal control, chipped, and brought back, only the new owner of the house a family member ,did not want him back and was sending him to the shelter. I was unaware of this when I showed up to trap and saw them putting Papito in a carrier to take him to the shelter. I couldn't let that happen, I fell in love with him instantly and decided to keep him, ensuring he had a forever home with me. He's in dire need of dental care and had to be taken to Tropicana Animal Hospital as he was in severe pain last night. The thing is, I don't want to surrender this dog and put him through more trauma. I'd just like to get him all taken care of, no pain. Due to having a cat that went to the vet last week and some doctor appointments of my own after I was hospitalized with sepsis and had hand surgery, I have no funds left. I've canceled my hand surgeon appointment for this Tuesday to take him to the vets today. Papito needs dental surgery ASAP; he's in real pain. He's been given antibiotics and pain medicine, but we need to get him to Dr. Castro's for dental surgery ASAP, as he will be much cheaper then I was quoted today.
