Aid Papito’s Move for Kidney and Eye Treatment

Donation protected

On behalf of my brother Juan, who is known to most as Papito, our family is reaching out. Papito is 41 years old and currently living in St. Croix. With that being said, access to medical care on a small island due to his condition is very challenging. He was diagnosed with diabetes and most recently in 2020, diagnosed with hypertension, which unfortunately progressed to chronic kidney failure and loss of vision in his right eye. As his journey continues, he is in need of a kidney transplant and surgical intervention on his remaining “good” eye to prevent loss of vision.

This has all been very challenging as he can't work and has been hospitalized numerous times due to fluid in his lungs causing shortness of breath and lower extremity fluid retention that has made it difficult and painful for him to walk or stand for long periods of time. We are asking for your help during this time. Any assistance, whether it be a donation or a share, will be greatly appreciated. This will help with his relocation to Florida, where I can help him access the care he needs, continue dialysis pending a kidney transplant, and obtain the necessary care to save his vision. It will help greatly with his medical expenses and transportation. Thank you to everyone thus far for the support.
