Help Papa Snuggz Heal and Find a Home

I'd like to introduce you to my good friend Papa Snuggz, AKA Uncle Snuggz, AKA Snuggalito! He's known on TikTok for his dedication, kindness, and caring nature to help others and make sure they're safe and taken care of. He became “TikTok famous” with a following of almost a quarter million followers, and the news even did a story about the positivity he has spread there. However, he's most known for the selfless gift he shares with people that are struggling or depressed. This is especially true for families that have lost, or are about to lose, a child. People from around the world seek him out to sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World.” With his amazing voice and his ukulele, he sings it with his heart and soul and helps people heal and forget about the trauma they're going through, if even for the few minutes he's singing it for them. He never asks for anything in return, even though it takes so much out of him, because he actually cares about people and the stories they have just told him. He's always creating GoFundMe accounts for other families in need and has raised tens of thousands of dollars for families over the last 5 years on TikTok! But unfortunately, right now, he's the one that needs some help, and together I know we can help get him out of this.

◦ Due to some horrific circumstances Papa Snuggz lost his home back in June However He was working and just needed a place to stay, but ironically, after everyone he has helped, he couldn’t find very many people willing to give up some space on their couch or who had an extra room for him to give him some time to save money and get back on his feet. So, against his better judgment, he finally reached out to his one and only son. Snuggz has always been there for his children. So much so that when he and his son’s mom broke up, and she took his son away from him at 9 years old, all the way from Hawaii to North Carolina , and his son begged to come back, Snuggz went to court and  fought for custody of him for 2 years! He never gave up because his son was unhappy being away from not only his home but from his daddy. And because of his dedication and love for his son he ended up winning FULL CUSTODY and had his son sent back and raised him till he graduated high school and turned 18! Initially Snuggz son Kainoa told him he loved having him there and didn’t mind helping HOWEVER  his son’s girlfriend didn’t want him there,even threatening to take the kids and go to her mom’s if he stayed and even being so disrespectful she cussed snuggz out. Her babies grandfather when he did absolutely nothing to her! . This quickly changed his sons attitude towards him so they allowed him to stay but made it very uncomfortable for him. The first month he was there, he still had a job but was let go towards the beginning of the second month. Though he lost his job, he still had money saved and was able to get food stamps from welfare, so he could provide for himself in that aspect. But he had no vehicle, making it hard for him to get around, go to the store, and get the things he needed. So when his son or his son’s girlfriend would go to the store, Papa Snuggz would offer to give them money and even go with them so he could grab things to cook dinner, buy things for the house, and provide for his own needs. But most times, his son and girlfriend declined, leaving him with nothing. They would complain to him and tell him he's not doing enough around the house, simply because he wasn't cleaning up after them mostly, but he always made sure to clean up after himself. His son and girlfriend would lock themselves in their room, leaving his girlfriend's kids out there with Snuggz to take care of for hours without showing their faces unless it was to come out and cook themselves food.

One day, Papa Snuggz was live on TikTok, trying to raise some money because his son wanted him out the next day. He was explaining what the situation was and why he needed to raise some money. His son overheard what he was saying and didn’t like it, so he started yelling at Papa Snuggz from across the yard. At this point, Papa Snuggz couldn’t take it anymore. He had been respectful to them the entire time he was there, and now that he was trying to raise some money to do exactly what they wanted, which was for him to move out, his son’s disrespect became too much, and he told him to shut up. His son told him to shut up back. The argument got heated, and his son came charging across the yard and pushed Papa Snuggz. A fight ensued, and his son shattered his leg, leaving Papa Snuggz in the hospital to endure a 9-hour surgery. They replaced his bone with a cadaver bone, put plates and screws in, and he was hospitalized for nine days.

He was released yesterday to a rundown rehab shelter for homeless people. His insurance is covering part of it, but he still needs to come up with the rest. He also needs some money to get him back on his feet, and I’d really like to get him into a better place.
