I'm fundraising for my dad(Papa Pan) to help cover his medical bills!

Over the Easter weekend, my dad who is living in China felt unusually dizzy, so he was sent to the hospital urgently. After imaging, he was diagnosed with a 99% blockage in his carotid artery and he needed an immediate surgery to insert a stent for carotid artery otherwise it could cause stroke and paralysis or even loss of life. His surgery went well, praise the Lord! We are grateful there was still 1% blood line flowing and holding his life until the surgery was done, we believe it was totally a miracle by God's grace!

Right now he is in the process of recovery and healing, he seems fine most of the time, but some moments he is not very clear with his minds and words, very easy to get tired, also he doesn't have a lot of strength to walk after surgery so he either sits or lies down.

My dad is 82 years old, and his health has been going down a lot in the last several years, which made me quite worried about him. After hearing he need to do surgery urgently, I took the last minute flight from USA to China and I was anxious to see my dad and also support the family. I was honestly scared that I was going to lose him so I was crying out to God during the flights and also asked the body of Christ to join me in prayer! I truly appreciate your powerful intercession, our God did answer our prayers!

My dad is the best father a child can ever ask for, I experience God's love, provision, protection and faithfulness through my earthly father. I'm glad he is still alive!

Our family just got the bill of about $20K including his surgery, the time staying in hospital and caregiving for 2 weeks. My dad had basic insurance to help cover 20% medical bill, but there are still 80%, which is about $16K we need to pay for. In addition, there is going to be approximately $7K uncovered for his follow-up recovery plan including medicine, caregiving and physical therapy in the next few months.
