A few months ago I was working, making people laugh, and being the supportive husband I’ve always tried to be. I loved life — comedy shows, meeting new people, spending quality time with my wife. I felt alive. Today, I need recourses to help breathe, to help pay for expenses that we can’t pay off one income.
After a hard battle of deciding whether I needed help or not, I’ve realized: I do. I need all the help I can get — not just for me, but for my beloved wife, who is carrying this burden with grace and pain I never wanted her to feel.
I’ve been diagnosed with COPD and pneumonia, and both have taken a huge toll. I can no longer move like I used to, and every breath is a struggle. But the real pain? Watching my wife suffer because of my illness — physically, emotionally, and financially. Not being able to take her out, not being the strong partner I once was — that breaks me more than anything else.
We’ve created this page to help with medical expenses, oxygen equipment, and treatments that our insurance won’t cover. We've looked into rentals, but they turn out to be even more expensive. Doctors have told us that surgery might leave me on a ventilator — and that’s the one thing we’re trying to avoid at all costs.
I’m not just fighting to breathe. I’m fighting to live — for myself, for my wife, for my family. Your support will not only help with life-saving care, but it will also help lift the weight off my wife’s shoulders as we fight this together.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Even a small share or donation means the world to us.
