Help Me Celebrate My 50th Birthday with My Wife on a Dream Cruise

Hi, my name is Paolo. A few years ago, I made the move to Ecuador hoping to build a better life. With over 20 years of experience in customer service, sales, and maintenance, I thought finding work would be simple. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been that easy.

Here in Ecuador, it’s been almost impossible to find stable employment. Most companies won’t hire anyone over 37 years old, and remote jobs are off the table because businesses need to be authorized to operate here for tax and legal reasons. I’ve tried everything — applying online, reaching out to companies, and exploring freelance work — but nothing has worked out.

This May, I’ll be turning 50 — a milestone birthday. More than anything, I want to celebrate it with my wife on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, something we’ve both dreamed about for years but never had the chance to do.
