Hi, I’m Kristel! This year I am turning 35 on the second of August, and my cat Panda is turning 10.

And to celebrate my birthday and hers, I’m asking for a small gesture: because I can’t think of anything else than to gift her the care she needs, including more quality time together. Help me get Panda a heart echo to monitor her heart condition (HCM).

I want to donate what’s left to a heart charity in honor of my dad.

Last year I got the news at the animal hospital: Panda was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) a progressive heart condition. Since then, she’s been doing well, but with time this is progressing and she is now slowly showing more symptoms. Relugar heart echos, thyroid examination and blood checks are critical to keep her safe, comfortable, and happy for as long as possible.

A heart echo & thyroid examination helps:

• Track how Panda’s condition is progressing

• Adjust medication and lifestyle

• Prevent unnecessary suffering

• Ensure she’s getting the best care in her golden years

The full check-up and scan cost €650-700. I’m hoping to start with raising €900 to cover Panda’s care and in case needed extra treatment.

The remaining amount I want to donate to a heart health organization in memory of my father, who also lived with heart issues and always encouraged donations to good causes on his Birthday regarding research on heart conditions.

Panda is my best animal friend, the sweetest, softest soul. She’s been by my side through everything. This is my way of being there for her.
