Hi everyone, My name is Kristyn, and I’m reaching out because our sweet cat, Panda Bear, is very sick and we’re doing everything we can to help her. Panda is only 4 years old and has always been such a loving, gentle, and affectionate part of our family. Recently, she stopped eating, became lethargic, and started losing weight quickly. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they found that her liver levels are dangerously elevated. The doctors believe she may be dealing with a serious condition related to not eating, possibly along with pancreatitis. Right now, Panda is hospitalized receiving fluids, medications, and care to stabilize her. The next step is continuing treatment and possibly further diagnostics to fully understand what’s going on and help her recover. Unfortunately, Mario and I are already struggling financially and are having difficulty keeping up with rent, but we couldn’t ignore that Panda needed urgent help. She is the sweetest cat — even at the vet, they said how gentle and loving she is. She’s not in pain, and we truly believe she has a chance to recover with the right care. We are asking for any help, no matter how small, to help cover her medical expenses so we can continue her treatment and bring her home.
