Thomas Riggs’ mother, Pamela Hanick, at the age of 63 years old, has been through more than most people could imagine. She’s a mother to two sons—one sadly deceased—and Thomas, her youngest, who is 42 and married with three stepchildren. Ever since her divorce four years ago, she’s faced a constant uphill battle, struggling with medical issues, surgeries, and the overwhelming costs of medication. Each month, she lives on a single check, and by the time she pays her phone bill, helps with rent and food, there’s hardly anything left for her to live on. Despite offers of help, she’s often left at square one, having to start over again and again. Through it all, she’s never given up. To Thomas, she’s a true superwoman, always finding the strength to keep going, even when things seem impossible.

The first donations will go toward an electric scooter for her, so she can get around more easily and enjoy the outdoors with her family. After that, the goal is to help her secure a small apartment, giving her a safe and stable place to call home. Eventually, Thomas hopes to help her get a vehicle, which she lost when she was hospitalized and couldn’t afford the storage fees. Having a car would mean independence and the chance to find work, something she desperately wants. Every bit of support will go directly to helping her regain the life she deserves.
