Pamela, my mother, has always been a hardworking and independent woman, but her life changed dramatically in October 2025. After undergoing a biopsy, she was diagnosed with squamous cell lung cancer, a type of NSCLC that requires ongoing treatment and frequent doctor visits. On top of this, Pamela faces a host of other health challenges, including severe COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and high blood pressure. Unfortunately, during her biopsy, she suffered a stroke that left her with limited function on her left side. Once active, she now relies on a walker and daily assistance for even the simplest tasks.
Her health struggles have been compounded by the condition of her home. Pamela lives in an RV that is falling apart—the roof leaks in several places, causing hazardous power outages and making it difficult to keep her oxygen machine running. The roof is caving in, and the environment is unsafe for someone with her medical needs. Despite all of this, Pamela has shown incredible resilience, even as she copes with the heartbreaking loss of her daughter on the same day as her stroke.
Any and all funds raised will go directly toward Pamela’s medical bills, including co-pays for the care she needs, as well as replacing her unsafe RV with a new one. Donations will also help with groceries and daily living expenses, ensuring she has the essentials she needs. Any help is a blessing—times are hard for everyone, so even a share or a dollar goes a long way to help Pamela get the care and support she deserves.
