On December 3, my life changed forever. My husband of 24 years passed away very suddenly from a heart attack. When I arrived home from work, I found him on the kitchen floor, and my world was turned upside down. He had no life insurance and we didn’t have any money saved for funeral expenses. His death was so unexpected, and I was not prepared for the financial challenges that followed.

Funeral expenses are much higher than I ever imagined, and I want to give my husband a respectful burial—nothing fancy, just something that honors his memory. The costs have put me in a very difficult financial situation, and I am struggling to manage everything on my own. I never thought I would have to ask for help, but sometimes life leaves us with no other choice.
