Help Pamela and Jeanne and Family Find Stability Again

Pamela and I live in Avery County and have been displaced from our home. We were evacuated on Sunday and had to leave everything behind. We had to climb down a mountain with a backpack with a change of clothes, cross the river, and were picked up by rescue workers in side-by-sides that took us to the main road to catch a ride with our nephew. We are currently in a hotel room 30 miles away with a rental vehicle because our cars are undriveable now. They said we may not be able to return home for a month. We cannot work because the whole town has been shut down. There is no power or water at our home, and as of right now, we do not know if there is damage to our home. We just need help. We have applied for FEMA assistance, but it is slow going. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are asking for prayers for our family.
