My name is Pamela, and I am facing one of the toughest battles of my life. I have been diagnosed with High Risk MDS cancer, which is now turning into Leukemia. In Georgia, where I live, I do not qualify for a bone marrow transplant, and without any treatment, I have been told I have less than a year to live. As a mother, my greatest wish is to be here for my 13-year-old daughter and to hopefully see my older daughter get married in 2027. I am only 54 years old, and I am not ready to give up hope.

There is a glimmer of hope at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida, where specialists and clinical trials for MDS cancer are available. However, the costs of traveling out of state, medical bills, hotels, food, and a rental car are overwhelming. I simply do not have the resources to cover these expenses on my own, but I am determined to fight for more time with my family.
