Hello All,

I am Richard Smith, son of Robert and Pam Smith. As you may know, my father, Robert Smith, passed on March 5th after a month-long case of COVID. He leaves behind my mom, Pam, and many fond memories. In the last week, my brother, Blaine and I have been assisting our mom with our dad’s final arrangements and making adjustments for a smooth transition to her new everyday life. Pam has been battling cancer since May, and thankfully her treatment and results have had positive improvements. Unfortunately, part of her medical attention came with a tremendous financial cost that will impact her in the coming months with the loss of my father’s income. We are reaching out to friends and family in hopes of raising enough money to offset her medical bills and give her some financial support as she adjusts.

I have not shared that I have set up the fundraiser with my mom, so we ask that the fundraiser remain known only between friends and family. She has always been a hard-working wife, mother and grandma and is not the type to ask for financial help.
