Help Pam & Tom Rebuild After House Fire

Pam is a stained glass artist who has spent years creating beautiful pieces in her home studio. Her partner, Tom, works as an architect at Ft. Stewart. I first met Pam when I took a stained glass class at Savannah Tech, and she taught me everything I know about the craft. Over the years, we became close friends, and I have always admired her talent and generosity.

Recently, Pam and Tom experienced a devastating house fire. Pam was at home, working in her studio, when she heard the alarms go off. She saw the fire spreading quickly and, with only moments to spare, grabbed her purse, keys, and laptop before escaping. Sadly, their house of 13 years—and everything in it—was lost to the flames. Pam even ran out without shoes on. The fire destroyed not only their home but also Pam’s studio and all of her art supplies.

Right now, Pam and Tom are staying with me while they figure out their next steps. They need to find a new place to live, buy clothes and daily essentials, and eventually replace furniture, appliances, and everything else they lost. The road ahead is uncertain, but I know that with the support of friends, family, and the community, they can begin to rebuild. This is my worst fear in life—a fire. Seeing Pam’s home and studio in flames broke my heart. I immediately started calling friends to find size 6 shoes for Pam. Please help them rebuild their life and figure out how to move on!
