Hello, I am Crystal, one of Pam's children.

I'm reaching out because my mom, and creator of the Cupcake Shop, is going through a very tough time.

She has sustained several injuries including agonizing back pain, a sprained ankle, and very sore hips, making it impossible for her to sustain her business without the proper amount of time for rest and recovery. She is now wearing an ankle brace, following medical advice from the ER after having a fall at her place of business, and is to be on rest and follow up.

We've asked for $30,000, considering she may need up to 3 months to recover based on my experience and understanding of this type of injury, as I am a Health Care Professional in the field of Therapy, as a COTA/L for the last 9 years.

Her recovery is dependent on if the pain and swelling can be controlled, and is now facing the risk of losing her business.

We're incredibly grateful to the loyal customers who've supported her small business for 8 years. She has loved every second of bringing people joy through her delectable baked goods, and joining in community gatherings. Not to mention receiving enough support to sustain a small business in one of the most difficult economic times.

Unfortunately, her business insurance won't cover the injury, and she's left with two tough choices: A) start a GoFundMe to seek community support for her bills and living expenses while she recovers, or B) find someone in the community interested in purchasing her business before it's lost.

This is a heart-wrenching situation for us, and while selling the business isn't her preference, we're uncertain about the recovery timeline, and she needs your support now to have a chance to save the Bakery.
