Help Pam Fight Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

We are raising funds to help ease the burden of medical expenses, cost of living, and other related expenses for my mom, Pam — a devoted mom of four and loving grandmother who also raises her granddaughter.

Pam is one of the most hardworking, caring, and selfless people you will ever meet. Those who know her can testify to her infectious smile, generous heart, and her unwavering dedication to others. Whether through her work or her presence in the community, Pam has spent her life giving — now, it’s our turn to give back to her.

In early September, Pam was diagnosed with Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC). On September 23rd, she underwent her first operation, during which doctors were only able to remove 50% of the tumor. Unfortunately, the cancer has since progressed, now covering 95% of her bladder. On October 13th, Pam received the difficult news that she will need a full cystectomy (removal of the bladder) and a full hysterectomy in the coming weeks.

This marks only the beginning of a long and challenging fight against this aggressive cancer — but it is not a fight she has to face alone. Our community has always been Pam’s family, and now she needs our help more than ever.
