Just like so many people, my parents are some of the most generous and hardworking folks I know. They are the ones that taught me how to work hard, but we all know that more and more, hardwork just isn't enough when life hits hard. With my dad being out of work for years and years, and my mother being the sole provider for herself, my dad and my two adult brothers. There are bills that have been building up with no relief available.
Despite my mother working two jobs, my parents now find themselves very behind on their real estate tax payments and are now in danger of losing their house. They need to come up with at least $2000 by the end of June to keep their heads above water, but I am hoping to give them $3000 to give them a tiny bit of breathing room.
I would love to be able to give them the full amount that they owe so that they don't have to worry about it any more and can get back on track, however i don't have a magic wand! I don't know what will happen if they find themselves without a house, and I can't bear to think about it. They are very proud people, and I know asking is hard for them and I know that any gift you could spare would be more appreciated than you know!
