Help Pam and Kathleen in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Daniela, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read about my two moms Kathleen age 79 and Pam age 76.

Recently my family and I were blindsided by my mom Pammy’s diagnosis of ALS after fighting Lymphoma. Her wife (my mama Kathleen) who at first seemed able bodied and in good shape in comparison with someone with ALS, was providing 24hr care to Pammy, until her own health unexpectedly took a turn for the worst. After being rushed to the hospital with debilitating and frightening symptoms, she was diagnosed with a brain bleed resulting in her being in a state of delirium, fear, and confusion, and the realities of her own declining health became apparent. We now know that her near 80 year old mind and body is overwhelmed with the daily stress of being a 24hr caregiver.

Since then there have been other concerns come up and we are quickly realizing there is a lot more medical attention and assistance that is needed in the immediate future. Pam and Kathleen who were once each other’s support systems are now unable to care for each other, are accumulating medical bills and need help.

So I am here to raise funds for their upcoming care. It has already been a tough few years with many challenges and my parents who do the most they can for anyone, now need support of their own. So far family and friends have stepped in to help where they can to care for them both, picking up tasks to offload daily responsibilities.

What is now needed, is financial support. Any money donated will be directly sent to them so it can help pay for medical aid, caretaking fees and basic living costs. Any amount you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated. I am so thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support shown over the past few weeks and undoubtedly, in the months to come.
