Hi! My name is Ziad Agha, and I’m the captain of the Palestinian National Rugby 7s Team. I live in Paris, France, and I’ve proudly represented Palestine in international rugby tournaments for years.

This October, our team has been invited to compete in the Asia Rugby Sevens Tournament in Muscat, Oman – one of the most important rugby events in the region. It’s a major opportunity for us to come together and show what we’re capable of — but we need your help to get there.

Who We Are

The Palestine Rugby 7s National Team is a diverse group of athletes united by a single dream: to represent Palestine with pride on the international rugby stage.

Our players live and train across Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, the UAE, France, England, Spain, and many more. Many of us have never trained in person together — but that hasn’t stopped us.

We’ve been competing for nearly 20 years, through hardship, distance, and limited resources. Every player trains on their own, carries the cost of travel, and balances work, studies, and personal life — all for the chance to wear the Palestinian jersey and raise the flag on the field.

What We’re Raising Money For

We’re raising funds to cover key costs related to the Asia 7s Tournament in Oman, including:

* ✈️ Flights for players traveling from multiple countries

* Accommodation during the tournament

* Team gear (jerseys, warm-ups, training kits)

* Ground transport and logistics

All donations will be handled by me, Ziad Agha, and will be used exclusively to support the team’s participation in this event. Funds will be distributed to cover individual travel costs, team logistics, and tournament expenses. We will provide updates and breakdowns to keep everything transparent and be honest with our supporters.

Rugby is more than a sport for us. It’s a platform to show a side of Palestine often unseen — one of resilience, unity, and ambition.

Our team exists despite no central base, no major sponsors, and no national stadium. We are building something long-term and powerful — a space where young Palestinians can grow through sport and where our identity is represented through dedication, teamwork, and pride.

We’re still small, but we’re here. We’re growing.
