I come to you today with a heavy heart and yet the most optimistic of spirits. This is someone special and dear to me, my little sis Paige. She not only means the world to me but to so many others. She is in a very serious fight against an unfortunate epidemic attacking many of our loved ones.

In August 2023 Paige Croom Wilson discovered a lump/mass in her right breast. After many test, labs and scans during the months that followed, it was confirmed November 22, 2023. Paige was diagnosed with Stage #2 Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. A double biopsy was performed soon afterward, where it was discovered that the Cancer was spreading at a rapid rate. Paige started an aggressive round of weekly Chemotherapy on December 14, 2023. Though she has remained positive and in good spirits the treatment took it's toll on her physically, mentally, and emotionally.

After the first round of Chemo, her biopsy results in one breast were promising and the focus was placed on the initial mass. It was decided that a dual mastectomy and reconstruction is the best plan of action. Surgery has been scheduled for June 10th and to lessen potential risk she is undergoing a second aggressive round of chemo up until the surgery date. The physical and mental toll of chemo, added to the mental and emotional drain of preparing for such a serious life-changing surgery is a lot for anyone to handle.

Paige is a beautiful, selfless person who has always put others first. She is the friend who offers a listening ear and the most positive and uplifting words in your darkest time. Our biggest supporter needs our support. It’s heartwrenching to see the effect cancer has had on Paige and her loved ones. OUR BIGGEST SUPPORTER NEEDS OUR HELP!!!

Paige’s treatments and recovery require her to take an unpaid leave of absence from work. Work stops but as we know obligations do not.
