Hi, my name is Paige and I’m reaching out because I’m in a really difficult spot health-wise and financially.

It all started a few months ago with a severe migraine and a sudden loss of balance and motor control. I went to the hospital where they ran scans and bloodwork, and I was given a possible diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). I was admitted to inpatient rehab and started improving, but now I’m having recurring episodes that may actually be seizures — possibly even epilepsy.

Right now, I’m stuck. I’ve been out of work since August, and I’m running out of funds to keep my insurance active. I have a critical neurology appointment on October 8th, and I need to pay for insurance and testing (specifically an EEG) in order to move forward with a real diagnosis and treatment plan.

I’m asking for $1,500 to help cover:

• Health insurance payment

• Neurologist appointment + co-pays

• EEG testing

• Transportation and essential expenses while I can’t work
