Paige is a 23-year-old trans woman who lives with her parents in a red state. Paige’s parents have opposed her transition, denied her necessary care, repeatedly said they are not supportive nor accepting, and don’t have a path to help her towards her future. In addition they have forced her to crossdress against her will, and have been physical in multiple ways on multiple occasions. Paige is unsafe in her home and in her state. She hasn’t been able to get a job despite over a year of trying, and she needs benefits soon before she is removed from her parents’ benefits due to age. We are raising funds to help with the transition of moving Paige to Illinois where she can get the care and support she needs.

The funds will be used for transportation to get Paige to her new home, as well as a few months' expenses until she gets settled. The estimated costs are as follows:

Travel: $1000

Housing: $2000

Food $1000

Medical $3000

I will be personally doing as much of the physical work as possible. I am a disabled trans woman who lives in the town in Illinois where Paige plans to find her new home. This is a very friendly town with a thriving lgbt+ community, a major university, and a number of very active support organizations in the community.
