Help Paige Beat The Odds #PrayersforPaige

On May 14th, our princess Paige Docherty suffered a terrible fall that will forever change her life. Paige broke her neck at the C5 and C6 vertebrae, resulting in her being paralyzed without the use of her legs, hands and other parts of her body.
Paige is currently in the Surgical Trauma ICU after two surgeries to help stabilize her cervical spine. She is currently on a ventilator to assist with her breathing due to the complexity of her injuries. Doctors have given us a less than 10% chance of her ever walking again. Once she is stable and ready to be moved, Paige will then head to the Rehabilitation Center of Indiana to start her long journey of beating the odds. We are so very blessed to still have Paige in our lives and we are so thankful for the amazing support we have received from family and friends.
The road ahead is going to be long and full of both milestones and setbacks. We are hopeful she will regain use of her hands and from there the sky is the limit for Paige. We also know the road to recovery is going to be very expensive and require substantial life changes for Paige’s family and most importantly her parents Kim and Tim. Your support and donation will help secure peace of mind for Paige’s family so that all efforts can be focused on helping Paige adjust to her new normal.
Paige is an unbelievably strong and resilient girl who knows no enemies. One trip in public will give you all you need to know about Paige and her love for people and friendship. Her heart is full of love and joy and she is the closest thing to an angel here on earth. When she isn’t giving hugs, Paige loves to sing and dance to her favorite episodes of Glee.
As someone who has already beaten the odds of her special needs life, help us give her the support and love to once again overcome her biggest challenge yet!
