Help Paige and Antonio Through This Tough Journey

I wanted to share an update on Paige and her journey. This is an update that is nearly impossible to put into words. Paige has been officially diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic incurable breast cancer. She started her first dose of chemo today. The plan is treatment with chemo and immunotherapy to stop the progression of this very aggressive cancer. I am asking that you can please keep Paige and Antonio in your thoughts and prayers. My sweet, warrior girl is going to fight this and she can beat this. She will not be a statistic. We love you Paige!

Hello friends and family, we are reaching out in hopes to rally together for our favorite couple. In March of 2024, Paige and Antonio were newly-weds and decided to make a move across the country from Boise, Idaho to Kansas City, Missouri. Their goal was to create new memories, explore new job opportunities, and begin creating a family of their own. For the first year, they dealt with the usual trials and tribulations of adult life and moving to a new city. Things started falling into place for them both and they finally felt that they were beginning to figure things out.

Shortly after their one-year anniversary they received devastating news. Paige was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. It was extremely unexpected and very overwhelming. Due to the type of cancer she has she will need to begin chemotherapy treatments in early January. It has yet to be determined if the cancer has spread to other areas of her body, we are waiting on a rather extensive list of scans she will need to undergo. If the cancer has not metastasized, after they shrink the tumor, they will be able to complete surgery for the removal, followed by radiation to try to treat the remaining abnormalities in her lymph nodes. However, if the cancer has metastasized, depending on the severity, she will be undergoing treatment for the foreseeable future until they can get a handle on this disease.

With that said, as her family, we struggle with not being able to be right by her side throughout this whole process. In just the early stages, the two have been dealing with excessive medical bills and we can only anticipate that to increase with the upcoming treatments and exams. They just got their new jobs, so insurances won’t go into effect until January and February, we are also not certain of what the insurances will cover or approve for what she may need. We are trying to come together as a community to help them out as much as possible. While the two are extremely independent and always want to handle things on their own, we want to try to do whatever we can to make this unfortunate process easier for them to handle. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. We are thankful to anyone willing to help. If you are unable to make a financial contribution, please share this if you can, and please keep these two in your thoughts. All of our Christmas wishes are going to healing her this year. We know these two are one of the most beautiful unique pair on this earth, and the community they draw in are also the most incredible humans we have encountered, so thank you for being there for them in all their times, of celebration and of struggle. To Paige and Antonio, we all love you so much! We are sending healing and light, and we are here, however we can be.
