Help our Para-dragon Team go to Sarasota, Florida

We are raising funds to bring a 20-man crew to race against the best para-dragon teams at the IDBF 13th Club Crew World Championships in Sarasota, Florida, USA, this coming July 18-26, 2022.

 

The Philippine Accessible Disability Services, Inc. (PADS) is an independent non-government organization working to enable the PWD (persons with disability) community to grow and develop as independent, integrated, and empowered citizens in society. Our cross-disability adaptive dragon boat racing team has competed and won gold medals in various races in Thailand and Hong Kong, among others.

The team has faced many challenges in the past couple of years with COVID-19 and the recent super typhoon Odette (Rai). Despite all these, the team continued to work hard and train to compete in the upcoming IDBF 13th Club Crew World Championships. Through this, we hope to be an inspiration to other members of the PWD community.

 

However, it will not be possible without your help. Therefore, we call on our friends in the corporate sector, the Filipino American community, the dragon boat community, supporters, and countrymen to make this dream a reality for our athletes.
