Help Paco - Battling Feline Infectious Peritonitis
Hi Family & Friends,
I am deeply saddened to find out my baby Paco has been diagnosed with FIP. It is a severe fatal disease caused by a feline coronavirus.
Paco is a beautiful 7 month old Balinese cat. Intelligent, very friendly, active and curious of life. Unfortunately since the day I brought him home, he has been going through other underlying issues that doctors have helped treat successfully, such as a Respiratory Infection and Giardia.
A month later I noticed Paco’s personality change dramatically and he was becoming Lethargic. He has been silently suffering with a fluid filled stomach surrounding his organs. It is incredibly sad to watch my kitty in pain.
FIP is not easy to treat but I am willing to do everything I can to save Paco’s life. This disease spreads quickly and has a life span of two months.
I recently left my hometown and moved to Chicago, Illinois. I feel helpless and have been going through a financial burden with Paco. I know there is so much more going on in this world and everyone deals with their own problems, but any type of support would mean the world to Paco and I.
Anyone who meets Paco has instantly fell in love with him and he has changed my world for the better. Please spread awareness and the help him to live all the long years he deserves.
With all of my love,
Paco & Sabrina
