Help Pablo's Family Rebuild After Fire

First and foremost, we thank God for His protection. We are asking for prayers for our family during this incredibly difficult time.

On Friday, February 28, 2025, at 4:10 AM, we woke up to smoke and flames engulfing our home. My husband, Pablo, a peritoneal dialysis patient, was in the middle of his treatment. I had just enough time to wake up our three teenage sons and disconnect Pablo from his dialysis machine. Every second mattered—by the time we were escaping, the ceiling was already collapsing. By God's grace, we made it out safely.

However, we have lost everything and now face the challenge of rebuilding—finding a new home and replacing essentials like beds, furniture, clothes, shoes, personal care items, and basic necessities. We also ask for continued prayers for our eldest son, Luis Roberto. He has asthma, and the heavy smoke caused severe respiratory issues. But praise God—Luis has been discharged! He will need daily nebulizer treatments and medications to manage his condition. We have a follow-up appointment with a pulmonologist to determine the next steps for his care.

Our journey to recovery is just beginning, but we are incredibly grateful for the support of our friends, family, and even kind strangers. Your prayers, messages, and generosity mean the world to us.
