My name is Pablo Santos. i’am married to Lynda Sauceda Santos and we live in East Dublin, GA

Our dear Pablo is fighting for his life. He has been diagnosed with end-stage heart failure and kidney failure. His only options for survival are a heart transplant or an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) implant — both life-saving but extremely expensive procedures.

Right now, Pablo is dependent on continuous IV medication (Milrinone) and other heart failure drugs just to keep his heart functioning. Despite his failing health, he has worked hard for years, paying for his appointments, procedures, and medications out of pocket, even when his heart was only working at 15% capacity.

Today, his heart function (EF) has dropped to just 10%, and he can no longer work. He requires daily care and weekly doctor appointments, each one a three-hour trip from home.

The estimated cost of treatment is staggering:

• LVAD Implant: around $800,000

These amounts cover hospitalization, surgery, and follow-up care. Sadly, Pablo does not have health insurance, and the financial burden has become too great to bear alone.
