Pablo is a gifted composer and music teacher living in Argentina, whose life changed overnight when his home was destroyed by fire. His beloved kitty was trapped on the second floor and despite the firemen trying to hold him back, he ran to the burning second floor and rescued his cat. His hair was burned off, his hand was burned and he will be unable to play for several weeks.
Over the past eight years, Pablo built his house by hand, pouring his heart into every detail. In a heartbreaking twist, he lost not only his home but also all of his cherished guitars and keyboards—tools that had taken years to acquire and were essential to his work. Without insurance and with Argentina’s economy in crisis, Pablo now faces the daunting challenge of starting over with no money, no home, nothing but his gratitude for making it out alive.
Despite losing everything, Pablo’s spirit remains unbroken. He is known in his community for his generosity, teaching music to others and rescuing animals in need. Friends and family are helping to rebuild his home, but for now, Pablo is sleeping on different sofas each night, relying on the kindness of others for basic survival.
Pablo’s immediate needs are for survival funds—food, shelter, and daily essentials—followed by support for rebuilding his home and replacing his destroyed instruments. Without his instruments, Pablo cannot work or share his music, which he believes has the power to heal and unite people across cultures. Even in the face of loss, Pablo remains optimistic and continues to inspire those around him with his belief in love, gratitude, and the healing power of music.
