Pablo is a 1 year old maltese rescue that I adopted a month ago. A local rescue group pulled him from an animal hoarder. Since I've had him, I've learned that he loves belly scratches, neck nuzzles, and has come a long way in learning to trust people again. Unfortunately, three weeks ago he started to get sick. I found out this week that he has distemper. Distemper is very rare and fatal in many cases. Rather than euthanize him, I've decided to do everything I can to give him the best chance at survival. If he survives this critical period, he can live a long and happy life. Hospitalization is his best chance at survival. I have already invested thousands towards his care. It will take an additional $2,500+ to keep him hospitalized. If you're able, I'm asking for your support to give this little nugget a fighting chance.
