Ozzy is a stray cat who comes nightly to my home to eat, always on the move and never staying long. Last night, he came to me with a broken leg, and after a visit to the vet, I learned that his leg needs to be amputated. I already care for over 13 cats, and while I do everything I can for the strays in my area, I simply cannot afford the cost of Ozzy’s surgery on my own.
For more than 11 years, I have been dedicated to helping stray cats—first in Sarasota, and now in North Port, where the stray community is large and in need. I trap, neuter, and return (TNR) cats to help control the population and give them a chance at a better life. Ozzy is just one of many who have found their way to me, but his situation is urgent and heartbreaking. Donations to this fundraiser will cover the cost of Ozzy’s surgery, and I will care for him during his recovery so he can have a fruitful life.
There are so many strays who are caught on my camera, and I do my best to help each one. Any support you can offer would mean the world to Ozzy and me. He is a sweet kitty who came to me for help, and now I am reaching out to you for compassion and kindness. Thank you for considering a donation and for supporting the stray cats in our community.
