Ozzy Pawsborne is approaching six years old and has been my fur baby, filling the void of infertility in my life. He has always been an outgoing, healthy young man, bringing joy and comfort to our home. His playful spirit and loving nature have made every day brighter, and he is truly a cherished member of our family.

About three weeks ago, Ozzy began to show signs of lack of appetite and withdrew from his usual social activities. Concerned, I took him to the vet, where he underwent extensive blood work and ultrasounds. The results were heartbreaking: Ozzy has chronic kidney disease, likely caused by a heart murmur, and will require constant care. His life expectancy has been shortened, and the reality of his condition has been difficult to accept.
