Late last week, our beloved housecat Ozzy managed to sneak outside. After days of searching and worrying, we found him today at the humane society hospital. Unfortunately, Ozzy is badly wounded from a fight and is suffering from a serious infection. The veterinarians are doing everything they can, but he may need to have his hind leg amputated to save his life. This emergency has brought unexpected expenses that are far beyond what my disability income can cover.

Any donations will go directly toward Ozzy’s emergency vet costs and surgery. We want to give him the best chance at recovery and bring him back home where he belongs. As empty nesters, Ozzy is truly our baby, and his absence has left a huge hole in our hearts. The humane society has told us that we may need to relinquish him to ensure he gets the care he needs, but we desperately want to keep our family together and care for him ourselves.
