My name is Daniel, and I’m fundraising for my dog, Ozzy. Over the last week, Ozzy’s health took a sudden turn for the worst and the medical expenses are building up faster than I can manage.
Ozzy is a 12-year-old Australian Shepherd who has always been active, playful, and full of life. The day before Thanksgiving he was still playing with his toys and eating. Then, out of nowhere, he became extremely lethargic, stopped eating, struggled to walk, and was shaking.
On Thanksgiving Day, I rushed him to the emergency animal hospital, where he was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. The next day I took him to our home vet for a second opinion, but unfortunately, they did not perform additional tests that could have helped us sooner.
By Sunday, his condition worsened, and I took him to a third veterinarian. That’s when we finally got the answer we needed:
Ozzy has a severe urinary tract infection that was never diagnosed by our original vet, and it became so advanced that it spread upward and damaged his kidneys.
Ozzy is still fighting.
He’s alert, responsive, and trying — and as long as he’s fighting, I’m fighting with him. I just want to give him the care, medication, and follow-up testing he needs right now.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even send well wishes, it means more than I can explain.
Thank you for helping me give Ozzy the best chance he has.
