Help Oziel Attend An International Music Camp In Romania

Hello Everyone! My name is Oziel.

This July of 2025 I plan to attend a Music Summer Camp in Sătic, Romania. This camp is hosted by the Seventh-day Adventist Conference of Oltenia, Romania. This one week long camp is anually attended by about 130 kids from all over the world(Spain, Norway, Italy, United States, Romania, etc...). In this camp, kids are able to participate in either choir or orchestra. They are given a repertoire of pieces that they will practice and rehearse and will later perform in a concert at the end of the week. Throughout the week they also engage in many different activities and classes. Orchestra students also get to learn from teachers who specialize in their instruments such as violin, flute, viola, etc... My music teacher who is also the choir and orchestra conductor at this camp every year, has invited me and some of my friends to participate.

Besides going to the camp, the week before, we plan to do some sight-seeing. We would like to see places such as:

● "Casa Poporului" or the House of Parliament(House of the People)

● "Peleș Castle" - a famous palace/castle built by King Carol 1st of Romania(featured in many movies)

● "Bran's Castle" - castle that inspired Dracula's mansion

The total cost of this whole trip would be around $2,700. I'm am a junior who aspires to one day become a music teacher and I truly believe that by going on this trip I will be able to grow more musically by learning from other teachers and people from around the world.

Este julio de 2025 planeo asistir a un campamento de verano de música en Sătic, Rumania. Este campamento está organizado por la Conferencia Adventista del Séptimo Día de Oltenia, Rumania. A este campamento de una semana de duración, asisten anualmente unos 130 niños de todo el mundo (España, Noruega, Italia, Estados Unidos, Rumanía, etc...). En este campamento, los niños pueden participar en coro u orquesta. Se les entrega un repertorio de piezas que practicarán y ensayarán y luego interpretarán en un concierto al final de la semana. A lo largo de la semana también participan en muchas actividades y clases diferentes. Los estudiantes de orquesta también aprenden de profesores que se especializan en sus instrumentos como violín, flauta, viola, etc. Mi maestra de música, que también es la directora de coro y orquesta en este campamento todos los años, nos ha invitado a mí y a algunos de mis amigos a participar.

Además de ir al campamento, la semana anterior tenemos previsto hacer algunas visitas turísticas. Nos gustaría ver lugares como:

● "Casa Poporului" o la Casa del Parlamento (Casa del Pueblo)

● "Castillo de Peleș": un famoso palacio/castillo construido por el rey Carol I de Rumania (aparece en muchas películas)

● "Castillo de Bran": castillo que inspiró la mansión de Drácula

El costo total de todo este viaje es alrederor de $2,700 dólares. Soy un estudiante de escuelas superior que aspira a convertirse algún día en profesor de música y realmente creo que al realizar este viaje podré crecer más musicalmente aprendiendo de otros profesores y personas de alrededor del mundo.
