Our nephew who is 17 years old  has recently been diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and Liver Cancer. After taking him in to urgent for what was  thought to be the flu, you can imagine that this news was unexpected and heartbreaking.

Our brother  has been at his side almost constantly since we found out so he hasn’t been able to work. And Owens mom, who live in Texas, made it back to Minnesota so she has been able to spend time with him as well. Unfortunately we have a very long haul ahead of us. We are currently at the University of Minnesota and they say they will be there for a couple of months undergoing chemotherapy. After this we will have another 2 years of coming in for chemo treatments 2-3 times a week.

As of now we are just hoping to get him off of dialysis for his liver. His ammonia levels have been high putting him in a delusional state. We have had good numbers for a couple days so hopefully Owen will get back to a point where at least we hold a conversation with him!

Hopefully at some point Ty be able to return to work, but as of now he is needed by his side. 

We would appreciate any help that you could possibly give. I have an amazing family and friends who are here to support us as best they can.
