Help Owen Johnson Strike Out Leukemia

Donation protected

15-year old Owen Johnson is an incredibly loving son, brother and friend, not to mention a fierce pitcher on the mound. Owen recently finished his 9th grade year as a Blaine Bengal and had his typical teenage summer planned out: spending time with friends, gaming, learning to drive a car, and baseball, baseball, baseball!

However, life threw Owen a curveball, and on June 23rd, he was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The Johnson family immediately met with the Leukemia team at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis to determine the best course of action. On June 25th, Owen will have a central line placed and start treatment. He will spend the first several weeks onsite with his family by his side.

Putting work on hold will be financially overwhelming but Ericka and Andy will do whatever it takes to support Owen. Andy is self-employed, so needless to say mounting expenses and time away from work will be challenging. Donations will be used to alleviate the expense of hospital stays, medical treatment and every day needs.

Owen is confident that he will be back on the baseball mound, possibly bald, throwing strikes in no time. Meanwhile, we will make sure he has everything he needs including: love, support, prayers, donations and of course some delicious desserts baked by his favorite sister, Charlotte.
