Hi my name is Oweda, I and a single mother with two smaller children age 6 and 9. I have been going through hardship since last year and fell behind in rent and bills. I am going through medical issues which is why I am unable to properly work. I am working but can't work how I want due to medical problems I am have with my back, knee, and feet/ankles constantly swelling..and I am always in pain to the point it's hard for me to do daily chores and such. I was able to pay rent and bills with my son's disability check and child support unfortunately my kids dad hasn't been working since Oct 2025..so things started going down hill, which put me back working .I tried working full time to catch up on rent and bills..but that took a hard toll on my body .so I start working part time..and it's still a lot of stress on my back and body. I have went through all resources, emergency assistance does not have funding to help with rental assistance, urban league has a 90 day period before any apps are looked at I am on the verge of being evicted...and I don't want that to happen...I got me and my kids out of a bad situation to a better living situation and environment and I would like us to continue to live at our residence. I've never asked anyone for much or anything...it's hard for me to do this go find me...but me and my kids need the help..and I am and would be grateful to anyone able to help us out. I am a single mother who does what's best for me and my kids...I take care of them and I do for my family, I'm just in a place in life where I having hardship and I am asking for help so we won't get put out.
