Hello… I’m really struggling right now, more than I know how to put into words. With winter coming and this snowstorm on the way, the fear has been eating at me. I was living out of my car, and when it was totaled, everything I had saved for a place had to go toward another used vehicle—just so I wouldn’t end up completely out on the streets. It felt like starting over from nothing all over again.

I’m trying so hard to stay strong, but the truth is… I’m exhausted. I really hate asking for help, and I’ve been fighting so hard not to. But the thought of being out in the cold—truly having nowhere safe to go—has been overwhelming. I don’t have any family or friends here. I’m from Missouri, and I’ve been alone trying to make this work.

I just had to get brakes put on the used vehicle I’m staying in, and now I’m being told I might need a new battery soon. My money is almost gone, and the nights have already been freezing. I’ve been sitting in that car shaking, just hoping it starts in the morning. It’s been one thing after another, and I feel like I’m running out of strength.

If there is any kind of help available, I would be unbelievably grateful. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet—I just need a little support so I don’t have to face this cold and this fear completely alone.
