7 years ago, I raised $7,400 on GoFundMe for my heart transplant. Now, with a hopeful, new heart, I come back and once again ask for generosity from you as I face a new journey.

6 months ago, I came down with a fever, nausea/vomiting, and other GI issues, and I have never recovered since. I have a daily fever and vomiting and have been hospitalized 8 times since March 2025. The worst part is, after months of testing, we have no answers.

I have the opportunity now to travel from my hometown in Texas to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, to hopefully find some answers. However, my only obstacle will be the cost of staying in Rochester for up to a week, paying for a hotel and food and transportation, and any extra will be used for medical bills.
