Help Overcome Medical Debt from Ankle Surgery
Donation protected
Hello all,
So a while ago, I genuinely do not remember, time has lost all meaning, I had to have emergency surgery on my ankle because I broke two bones, ruptured a ligament, and popped the ball of my foot out of its socket, and it refused to stay put after two different doctors tried to put it back in—and wasn’t that fun.
So the ankle has healed up about 70%. I was hoping for a better recovery than that. At the moment, I can’t even walk on uneven ground. I cannot mow my yard, and I still hurt a lot of the time. My surgeon thinks my ankle is reacting to the metal in there, and it’s causing inflammation, so we are doing another surgery to remove it.
Yay .
I don’t get sick leave, and I have to take at least two weeks off.
Anyway, thanks to our parents, we just, finally, climbed out from the debt for the six months when I wasn’t working. We’d really like to keep our heads above water this time around. So if you can give, please do. I don’t make much, but I do what I can. So if you could step in and help, I’d appreciate it.
