I never imagined I'd be writing this, but life recently threw me a curveball that changed everything.

A few months ago, I was rushed to the ICU after what I thought was a routine illness turned out to be septic kidney stones-a severe and life threatening infection. I spent 3 days in intensive care, fighting for life and another 6 days in the hospital. Thanks to God, the incredible medical staff and support from loved ones, I'm grateful to say I'm now on the road to recovery. However, the financial burden left behind is overwhelming.

Despite having insurance, the cost of ICU care, emergency procedures, medication, follow-up treatments have quickly added up to more than I can manage. On top of bills I'm self employed which I face time away from work which further impact my ability to stay financially afloat.
