Help Overcome Medical Bills After Ankle Surgery
Donation protected
Over the years, I’ve always donated to GoFundMes and never thought I’d be in the position to make one for myself.
But life has a way of humbling us. Back in February, I suffered a severe ankle injury that required ORIF surgery (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation) — a complex and painful procedure involving metal plates and screws to repair the bone. Recovery has been long, painful, and expensive.
While I’m incredibly grateful the surgery went well, the financial burden has been overwhelming. From mounting hospital bills to ongoing physical therapy that’s crucial to my full recovery, the costs just keep adding up. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses have become way more than I can manage on my own.
If you’ve ever been in recovery, you know how important it is not just to survive an injury but to heal well. Physical therapy is what’s helping me walk again, rebuild strength, and prevent long-term damage. Skipping sessions isn’t an option — but continuing them without help is getting harder and harder.
So here I am — asking for help. Whether it’s $5 or just a share, I’d be beyond grateful for any support you can give. All funds will go directly toward medical bills, physical therapy, mobility aids, and continued care that will allow me to heal fully and get back on my feet — literally.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and being in my corner. I appreciate your prayers just as much as I do donations!
