Update- I'm still in shock... I just want to wake up from this nightmare.

I saw the oncologist and found out that whole brain radiation therapy is also being recommended. This can cause brain damage and that scares me more than anything.

I used to be the one to take care of everyone...now I need help.

I recently found out I have lung cancer and had to have major surgery to take out part of my right lung. Now I'm being told that because it is such an aggressive type of cancer I now have to go through chemotherapy also. I was not ready for this. This is going to cost more in parking, meds, and gas. I have nothing extra to begin with.

Please, if anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.
