Update 3/4: my hysterectomy is scheduled toward the end of the month. My goal is to try and be able to get a new mattress, pay my bills, and medical supplies. This whole process is a grief I wasn’t expecting. Plus, the rest of my body is having a hard time functioning. Getting out of bed is painful and I’m hoping this upcoming surgery will alleviate the intense lower abdominal pain. I am incredibly supported by my parents, medical care team, and my community. The next surgery after this will probably be my knee again, I have a tilt table test to schedule, and got a rheumatologist referral. Blessings!
Hi! It has been a year now since my health began to decline, and only this year have they begun to figure out what’s going on. With a handful of known issues and diagnosis, the doctor wants to conduct a hysterectomy because of endometriosis and probably remove the ovary that keeps having 5+cm cysts that rupture frequently, leaving me in nonfunctional pain levels causing passing out and ER visits.
because of all my health issues worsening, I had to drop out of college in the fall of 2024. I plan on starting again in the fall of this year, unfortunately during the time of healing from my hysterectomy and then the probable spinal tap, i can’t work. I’ve been working with the workforce to get certification in an entry level job, but because of my health, again, I can’t work place that requires physical labor.
any help is greatly appreciated!
