Two years ago I accepted my dream job of full time employment in YMCA Summer Camping. The time since that moment has flipped my life upside down. Winters of 2023 and 2024 I went through severe depressions. So much so that I didn’t believe I was able to give Camp the focus and attention it needed. The thought of a child potentially getting hurt or worse, and it being from my inability to focus at work, was too much for me to handle. So I resigned because I valued the safety of campers over my own personal goals.

After that I moved a short distance from camp and started working at a local store. I quickly realized that I wasn’t making enough money to cover living expenses so moved back to Ohio to live with family until I got more financially stable. I missed three car payments and the vehicle I was driving was repossessed mid September of 2025. I was trying to save up for a down payment for a used vehicle so I could keep going to work and keep striving towards financial stability.

October 1st of 2025 I had a kidney stone attack and went to the ER due to extreme pain and inability to keep fluids down and becoming dehydrated. Was told the stone causing the pain was 6mm in size and was prescribed medication to assist in its passing. I was also told I have several more stones in my kidneys, some up to 1.1 cm in size.

These last two years have been very difficult, and the last two weeks have been some of the hardest yet. I know these times are extremely dire for so many of us, but any donation would be extremely appreciated. If 1,000 people saw this and decided to donate $10 I would be on my way to financial stability.

If I am able to raise $10,000, 50% of any funds over $10,000 will be donated to local homeless shelters and local VA homeless shelters.
